Comments: I was thinkink how to do the pork roast to like to every one in my family. Looking the recipes here I found this one. I gave it to my daughter and she did the recipe w/out the hot things and everybody was happy with the taste. We don't use "hot" things because some on my family have problem with them. But I know with the peppers are great. Thank you for the recipe.

Comments: I made this tonight thinking that it would be just another one of my "dry" roasts. Was I wrong! It was both moist and flavorful. My husband who usually has to make my roasts into sandwhiches layered with mayo loved it. I did leave out the nutmeg and cayenne pepper but I don't think it affected the flavor at all. Everyone says that this is a do again recipe.

Comments: This was so delicious, and moist. As it was cooking it smelled up the whole house, and I was getting so hungry. I couldn't wait to eat this. When my husband came home from work he said something smelled good, and it smelled as good as it tasted. Will definitely make this one again. I highly recommend it. If you don't like spice, this one's not for you. I'll use this rub on chicken and other meats as well. Thanks again to Meals.com!!!!

Comments: I MADE THIS FOR EASTER DINNER AND IT WAS VERY GOOD. I USED THE SUGGESTIONS OF SLICED APPLE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN AND THE SELTZER WATER. IT WAS VERY MOIST,SMELLED WONDERFUL AND HAD GOOD FLAVOR, NOT OVERLY SPICY. MINE WAS 3 POUNDS SO IT TOOK ABOUT 1 3/4 HOURS. IT WAS STILL A LITTLE PINK AT ONE END, BUT I DIDNT REALIZE THAT TIL LATER. I MADE IT FOR LUNCH, CUT IN STRIPS,WITH A CHERRY/APPLE RELISH AND WRAPPED IN A TORTILLA... VERY TASTY.

Comments: This is a great recipe! It's a lot of herbs but not overpowering like you might think. Full of flavor. I will make it once a week for sure.

Comments: This is an excellent rub. I've had it twice now, once on a pork loin and once on a pork tenderloin, both of which were cooked on a Weber charcoal grill. Everyone loved this recipe. I will make the rub up and keep it for use on other meats as well. It would also be good to package and give as a gift.

Comments: The spices were too over powering. Maybe if you decrease the spices it would be good.

Comments: This was great!! Family ate every drop! Put in crock pot with a can of broth and left to simmer on low for 4 hours after rubbing with spices and browning in pan lightly. Served with onion soup roasted potatoes. Best roast I ever made~~~

Comments: I used a 5lb, bone in pork loin. The spices were perfect, but because I live in a dry climate and use a gas oven, I find it necessary to add 1/2 cup of apple cider and a flat beer to retain the moisture. Of course, the smell was heavenly, and it came out great. This roast took two hours to finish, the family loved it, and there was enough left over for sandwiches.

Comments: I tried this for the first time and ended up having to use a pork tenderloin instead of a roast. Wow!! It tasted great. Very tender and juicy! One of the best dinners in a long time. I served it with the Down Home Mac-n-cheese recipe at this website.

Comments: I think the seasonings were perfect, but thats about it. It took WAY longer than an hour. By 2 hours, it still wasn't done, so we had to microwave it for another 30 minutes. We ended up throwing the remains away because no one liked it. If I make this again, it's going in the crockpot.

Comments: This was great. I cut down on the spices a little because I have a husband who is reluctant to try anything different. It went over really well and I can't wait to try sandwiches with the leftovers. I will definitely serve it again.

Comments: I've prepared a similar recipe in the past and added something that made it delicious. I peeled and sliced a couple Granny Smith apples and mixed them with some cinnamon. Then I placed them on the bottom of the baking dish with a little seltzer (particularly, I used rasberry/lime seltzer) for an extra kick. Everyone LOVED it.

Comments: Even my kids loved this one! My sister has ordered pork tenderloin from some very high-priced caterers and raves about how delicious it is, yet I never tasted why. But this Cajun Loin is GREAT! The picture looked tasty so I thought I'd give tenderloin another try, I did and my family and I loved it! I will definitely be using this recipe again! Thanks!

Comments: This recipe was quick and easy to make. The dish was flavorful and the meat retained its juicyness. I must say though that the amount of rub for a two pound loin is a bit much.

Comments: This recipe was really fantastic. I cooked it for our Sunday dinner. I used a premixed rub bought at the store which contained almost everything in the recipe plus some. There was only one slice of meat left after dinner, even my two year old loved it. I will definitely cook this again.

Comments: Excellent rub, perfect amount of spice and the pork came out tender and juicy. I would recommend cutting the total amount of rub in half, it is too much for 2 lbs of pork. Wonderful!

Comments: When we tried this recipe, we thought it was really good. I did make a couple of changes in the rub. We like things rather spicy, so we changed the 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne to 1/4 teaspoon and added 1/4 teaspoon of Chipotle Chili Powder. I also added 1 Tablespoon of onion powder. We use the rub on chicken also.

Comments: I had Pork Roast in the freezer, but was tired of the same old roast pork. I saw this and decided to try it. The combination of spices are just right, and it took my roast to new heights! My family raved about it, and I plan on making it for company. I made stuffed potatoes and a corn pudding, that I also found on meals.com. The whole dinner was wonderful! I like that I can punch up what I have in the fridge, and it finds a receipe for me. This is the best meal sight I've found so far.

Comments: The rub had a lot of pepper and I was afraid that it might be too much but it wasn't. I did only use half of the mixture for my 2# roast and I felt that was sufficient.I saved the rest for the next time I make the recipe which will be again.
