Comments: Everyone loves this dip at my parties! I add cream cheese instead of the shredded cheese, plus a pinch of brown sugar. YUM! I serve the shredded cheese in a separate bowl along with many other possible add-in's. This way everyone can add or not add the extras. The possibilities of everyone creating a "new dip" are endless.

Comments: For a smoother dip, try using Velveeta or other processed cheese instead of shredded cheddar.

Comments: I've made this for years. Everyone loves it, but I do add one more ingredient, homemade chile. When I make chili, I make a little extra to freeze in small portions, about a cup or so in each package. I serve the dip in individual serving bowls and put about 2 to 4 spoonfuls of chili over the bean mix, then a sprinkle of Mexi-Blend cheese and black olives. Of course, I do add some green chiles or japaleno peppers to the bean mix.

Comments: Working full time dosen't leave much time for "from Scratch" cooking these days, so when we want to throw a last minute BBQ this is great! You can also smash up a few avacados and stir in a jar of sala and you have 2 dips to pick at while the meat is cookin'...try them!!

Comments: My Bridge Club loves this recipe. I've shared it with everyone in my Club. I make two types, one with Jalapenos because some like a more spicier taste and the other was made mild for those of us with tummy problems. Of course to handle the crowd this summer I'll have to double the recipes.

Comments: I love this! It has been a favorite since the 80's. For extra spice, I add chopped jalapeno or habanero peppers. And some sour cream and guacamole on the side makes it extra yummy! I've even eaten this as a meal before.

Comments: This was a big hit at our last BBQ. But, I added a 1/2 pound of browned crumbled ground beef. Now that really made it a hit!
